Overview
Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Manager, Strategic Accounts for Shockwave Medical Inc. to drive business growth and strategic partnerships within hospital and health system accounts. This role focuses on expanding adoption of innovative Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology in the cardiovascular interventional space while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver long-term value and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with hospital and health system stakeholders
- Execute account strategies aligned from IDN to hospital level
- Drive innovative partnerships and growth opportunities within strategic accounts
- Collaborate with sales leadership to increase pipeline and close opportunities
- Navigate and influence Value Analysis Committee (VAC) approval processes
- Identify and manage Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships
- Communicate the full clinical, economic, reimbursement, and pricing value proposition
- Partner with cross-functional teams on strategy, marketing, and execution
- Maintain compliance with FDA, corporate ethics, and quality standards
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Travel up to 50% domestically
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years medical device sales experience (cardiovascular interventional preferred)
- Experience with catheter-based technologies, endovascular or coronary sales
- Strong knowledge of contracting and VAC processes
- Ability to communicate clinically with physicians at a high level
- Strong influencing, decision-making, and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must not be debarred by the FDA
