Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer with at least 6 years of hands-on experience to join our team. As a Senior MERN Stack Developer,
you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and responsive solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement frontend components and user interfaces using React.js for optimal user experience.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js to support frontend functionality.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Optimize application performance and scalability by implementing efficient algorithms, data structures, and caching mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or end-users, and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest MERN stack developments, libraries, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development with expertise in the MERN stack.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
- Strong understanding of React.js concepts such as components, state management, hooks, and context API.
- Experience with frontend build tools and workflows such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Express.js to build RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
- Experience with database systems such as MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
