Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the .NET framework. You will be responsible for building .NET applications, including back-end services and front-end counterparts. Your primary focus will be to ensure that these applications are robust, high-performing, and easy to maintain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development:
- Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications and web services.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using .NET programming languages (C#, VB.NET).
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Database Management:
- Design and optimize databases using SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
- Write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
- System Integration:
- Integrate .NET applications with other systems and third-party APIs.
- Develop and maintain application interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow and interaction between systems.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Prepare and maintain code documentation, user manuals, and guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Optimization and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor and improve the performance of existing .NET applications.
- Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues and application defects.
- Implement best practices for security and data protection.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in .NET development using C# or VB.NET.
- Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in working with SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and writing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework or other ORM tools.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
