📝 Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our remote team. You will be responsible for developing custom PHP-based web services, websites, and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, knowledgeable in PHP frameworks, and experienced in integrating APIs and building scalable web solutions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom PHP-based web applications and services
• Work with e-commerce platforms like ZenCart, Shopify, Prestashop, Magento, OpenCart, and Custom PHP (mandatory: at least 1 framework + 1 open-source platform)
• Write efficient, secure, and organized code adhering to best practices
• Utilize PHP5 and OOP concepts in application development
• Implement Ajax and APIs integration (Google API, Facebook API, shipping providers, third-party APIs)
• Work on front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, templating, caching, sessions, and authentication
• Develop and optimize complex MySQL queries
• Work with PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Laravel, Zend
• Analyze, design, code, debug, test, and deploy application modules
• Suggest and implement new technologies to enhance company’s technical capabilities
• Collaborate with team members to launch new features and ensure high-quality web experiences
• Perform unit testing of developed modules

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven track record of building user-friendly, scalable websites
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery/jQuery Mobile
• Strong experience in custom PHP development and MVC frameworks
• Expertise in MySQL query optimization
• Experience working with Web Services, XML, JSON (minimum 1 year)
• Quick learner with the ability to deliver functional prototypes
• Experience integrating third-party platforms via APIs (e.g., Zapier, payment gateways, shipping providers)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
