Overview:
The PHP Developer plays a crucial role in our organization responsible for developing and maintaining highquality web applications using PHP and related technologies. The position is remote thus offering the opportunity for the individual to collaborate across crossfunctional teams and contribute to the companys overall technical success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient reusable and reliable PHP code.
- Integrate data storage solutions such as databases keyvalue stores blob stores etc.
- Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into the development process.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Test the applications and identify any technical problems or issues.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel CodeIgniter etc.
- Proficient in frontend technologies such as JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and nonrelational databases.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks.
