Role: Power BI Developer
Employment Type: Contract 3 Months [Immediate] [US Central Time Shift 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT]
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI solutions that meet critical business requirements.
- Craft visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and gain a deep understanding of business objectives.
- Conduct thorough data analysis and modeling to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all reports.
- Optimize and enhance the performance of existing Power BI solutions, troubleshooting any issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies to continuously improve our reporting systems.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and M Query.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience with SQL databases and data warehousing concepts, understanding how to structure queries for optimal performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A Power BI certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or similar platforms is a plus.
