We are seeking a Staff Backend Engineer with 10–15 years of experience to own and scale our backend systems while driving innovation at scale. This is a senior leadership-level engineering role with strong impact on product and technology.

What You’ll Do:
• Architect and scale large, distributed backend systems using Python/Django
• Define and enforce architecture patterns and engineering best practices
• Drive database performance tuning, caching strategies, and infrastructure optimization
• Ensure scalability, resilience, and high availability of applications
• Collaborate with leadership on technical strategy and roadmap
• Mentor and guide senior engineers to raise the technical bar of the team

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven track record in building and scaling high-traffic platforms
• Deep expertise in architecture design, infra handling, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems
