Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing for websites and mobile applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, usability, compatibility, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and report bugs using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello or Taiga
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionality.
- Work closely with developers to replicate and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing is performed.
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to improve product quality.
- Continuously update knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and new tools.
Requirements:
✅ Strong knowledge of regression testing and software testing life cycle (STLC).
✅ Expertise in major testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Cypress, and LoadRunner.
✅ Experience with functional, usability, security, performance, and API testing.
✅ Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
✅ Ability to write and execute test cases, test scripts, and test automation scripts.
✅ Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile device testing.
✅ Understanding of agile testing methodologies and experience in CI/CD testing workflows.
✅ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
✅ Good communication skills to collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
