We’re looking for a talented Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in both Information Technology (IT) and Hospital Management Systems (HMS). This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning and regulatory compliance of software solutions tailored for the healthcare sector. As a QA Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to execute comprehensive testing procedures, identify potential issues, and uphold the highest standards of quality in our software products.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement robust test plans, cases, and scripts specifically tailored for IT and Hospital Management Systems, ensuring thorough coverage of functionalities.
2. Execute various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, to uncover defects and ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.
3. Work closely with development teams to understand software requirements, offer insights on design and functionality, and facilitate smooth communication throughout the testing process.
4. Document and prioritize identified defects, meticulously track their resolution progress, and validate fixes through rigorous testing methodologies.
5. Conduct validation testing to confirm that software solutions adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards within the healthcare domain.
6. Contribute to release activities by participating in planning, preparation, and deployment phases to guarantee successful product launches.
7. Drive testing automation initiatives, developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
8. Provide valuable feedback on user interface design and user experience improvements through usability testing.
9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software quality assurance and healthcare IT, continually enhancing our testing methodologies.
10. Mentor and support junior QA team members, offering guidance on testing processes, tools, and best practices.
11. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and regulatory bodies, to address quality-related concerns and ensure alignment with industry regulations.
**Qualifications: **
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– [X] years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with specific expertise in testing IT and Hospital Management Systems.
– Proficiency in software testing methodologies, test planning, and test case development.
– In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations and their implications for software development and testing.
– Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Jira, or HP Quality Center, along with experience in database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
– Exceptional analytical skills with a knack for troubleshooting complex software issues and identifying root causes.
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
– Preference for experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and relevant certifications in software quality assurance or healthcare IT.
