We are seeking entry-level QA Engineers to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for trading applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Test Case Development:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and scripts.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Test Execution:
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and stress tests on trading systems.
- Conduct manual testing where necessary, ensuring all test cases are executed and defects are logged.
Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and verify fixes.
Performance and Load Testing:
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability under peak trading conditions.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in quality assurance and trading systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, in the trading domain.
- Strong understanding of trading systems, FIX routing networks, financial markets, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of FIX Protocol.
- Exposure to Equities, Options and Futures asset class.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JMeter).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
