Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration:
- Work as part of the team to develop a product our customers love
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers, business analysts and other product developers.
Software Development:
- Build high-quality reusable code
- Define and communicate technical and design requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Follows relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices
- Learn quickly.
Key Skills:
- Good technical knowledge paired with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. A Scientific mindset with the ability to test and iterate to achieve a desired outcome
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Excellent coordination and dependency / sequencing mapping skills
- A strong understanding of .Net C#, and cloud technologies
- Ability to process complex structures in their head and break them down into easily digestible, elegant and deliverable components. Comfortable ability in picking up stories and breaking them down into development tasks
- Good experience working on SaaS products
- Experience building Micro services
- DevOps mindset and always has performance and security in mind
- A proactive and positive approach to decision making
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Great communication and collaboration skills with a positive attitude and a general eagerness to do great work
- Self-starter with a desire to learn, develop and problem solve
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise
- Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Resilient and efficient in approaching tasks.
Key Technical Skills:
- .NET Core / C#
- Azure Cloud (alternatively AWS)
- SQL / Azure SQL
- Software design patterns
- Git.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Message based communication (e.g. RabbitMQ, Servicebus)
- Experience with ReactJS / React Native
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience using TDD.
