This is a full-time remote role for a Backend Developer. The Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end components of web applications, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness. The role involves using object-oriented programming (OOP) techniques, collaborating with front-end developers, and participating in the entire software development lifecycle. This includes coding, testing, debugging, and deploying applications.
Qualifications
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Programming
- Experience in NodeJS, ExpressJS, PostgreSQL and Web sockets is a plus
- Proficiency in Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with emerging technologies and sectors such as AI or crypto is a plus
