Role Description:-
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support our organization’s data-driven decision-making process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data to help drive operational efficiency and quality improvements across divisions. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and availability of data used for strategic planning and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and validate data from primary and secondary sources ensuring high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
- Extract and transform data using Python, SQL, and MATLAB for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support business strategies and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and management information systems (MIS) using tools like MS Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports on performance metrics, including visualizations and executive summaries.
- Assist in the design, development, and management of data systems and databases.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
- Support all divisional quality teams in data standardization and reporting consistency.
- Identify data quality issues and implement continual improvement initiatives to enhance data reliability and usability.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of a “Way Forward Matrix” by interpreting analytical results in line with organizational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in Data Science, Data Mining, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and MATLAB for data manipulation and automation.
- Understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience with data querying.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Basic knowledge of quality management systems and metrics (especially useful in manufacturing or product quality domains).
