Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer with expertise in Shopify and WordPress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, and optimizing eCommerce websites and content management systems (CMS) to enhance user experience, performance, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and WordPress websites based on client requirements
- Convert Figma designs into fully responsive and pixel-perfect web pages
- Implement interactive and dynamic UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user experiences
- Customize and extend Shopify/WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs
- Debug, troubleshoot, and fix website issues and bugs
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of all developed pages
- Work closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution
- Integrate third-party APIs, apps, and services into Shopify and WordPress websites
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Frontend Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS
- Shopify Expertise: Liquid templating language, Shopify themes, Shopify CLI, and third-party app integrations
- WordPress Expertise: Theme customization, plugin development, WooCommerce, Gutenberg blocks, and Elementor/Divi/Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Experience with Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab
- Basic Knowledge of SEO Best Practices for frontend development
- Understanding of Web Performance Optimization Techniques
- Experience with Headless CMS
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Shopify Plus
- Familiarity with React.js, Vue.js, or other frontend frameworks
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Understanding of PHP for WordPress development
