We are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer for a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate should be based in India and available to start immediately.
We need an experienced Next.js developer with expertise in both frontend and backend development. The role focuses on building scalable, high-performance web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience. You’ll work closely with designers and DevOps teams to bring dynamic web solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Application Development
- Develop, optimize, and maintain web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Write reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code following best practices.
Frontend Development
- Convert Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
- Implement interactive UI components using styled-components (CSS-in-JS).
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Optimize performance with techniques like lazy loading, caching, and asset optimization.
Backend Development & API Integration
- Build and manage API integrations and backend logic using Node.js.
- Work with Next.js APIs and other server-side functionalities to support the frontend.
- Implement GraphQL schemas and queries to streamline data exchange.
CI/CD & Deployment
- Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Use Kubernetes for container orchestration, ensuring scalability and smooth deployments.
- Collaborate with DevOps to manage cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Next.js with experience in SSR, ISR, and API routes.
- Expertise in GraphQL for efficient data management.
- Experience in automated testing (Jest) and debugging tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- TypeScript experience in a full-stack environment.
- Knowledge of backend frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native tools, and headless CMS (e.g., Contentful, Strapi, Squidex).
