As a Jr. Software Tester (Manual + Automation), you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. Working under the guidance of senior testers and QA leads, you will execute both manual and automated test cases, document defects, and contribute to delivering reliable and user-friendly software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and specifications to understand project deliverables.
- Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases & test scenarios based on functional requirements.
- Prepare the Acceptance Criteria for the Development Team.
- Identify, record, and track bugs in the defect tracking system.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues.
- Perform regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Ensure all test activities, including test plans, scripts, and results, are properly documented.
- Provide detailed feedback to the development team to improve application performance and usability.
- Stay updated with QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
