We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester with at least 6 months of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and strong analytical skills to identify issues and ensure the quality of software products.
Responsibilities:
- Understand requirements, specifications, and business logic to develop test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure quality throughout the development process.
- Perform different types of testing including functional, regression, UI/UX, and smoke testing.
- Provide detailed feedback and documentation of test results.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups (if working in Agile environment).
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Manual Testing.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, or Trello.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test scenarios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to basic SQL queries.
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
