📝 Job Description:
Uplers is looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer who can ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software products through manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in testing complex web and mobile applications and should be well-versed with test automation frameworks, QA methodologies, and Agile environments.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Conduct API and UI automation testing
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and suggest improvements
- Contribute to continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines for testing efficiency
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer (5+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, Cypress)
- Experience with API testing and test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
