We are seeking a talented and experienced Website Developer who specializes in Shopify to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience developing and managing Shopify websites, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end development. This is a remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a passionate and creative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Development:
- Design, develop, and optimize Shopify websites for consumer brands.
- Implement custom themes and templates that align with brand guidelines.
- Front-End Development:
- Ensure seamless user experiences through responsive and visually appealing designs.
- Collaborate with designers to bring creative concepts to life.
- Back-End Development:
- Customize and extend Shopify functionality using Liquid, APIs, and app integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Performance Optimization:
- Optimize website speed, scalability, and overall performance.
- Implement SEO best practices for e-commerce platforms.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers, marketers, and clients.
- Stay updated on Shopify updates, trends, and new features.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with Shopify websites.
- Proficient in Shopify’s Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce website architecture, UX/UI principles, and responsive design.
- Experience with Shopify APIs and app integrations.
- Familiarity with tools like Git for version control.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for Shopify.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with consumer brands.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics.
