ROLE: Software Developer INTERN
CTC : The internship begins with a stipend of ₹5,000 per month. Upon successful completion of a 3-5 month period, then a PPO with CTC between 3 to 10 LPA will be offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Theme & Plugin Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins that meet our clients’ requirements.
- Website Optimization:
- Optimize website performance (speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness) and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Customization & Maintenance:
- Customize existing themes and plugins to enhance functionality and resolve any issues or bugs.
- Integration:
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services with WordPress sites.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Code Quality:
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. Follow coding standards and best practices.
- Security & Updates:
- Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins, and implement robust security measures.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with WordPress best practices, coding standards, and security practices.
- Experience:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Design & UX:
- Understanding of responsive design and UX/UI principles.
- Communication:
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics.
