As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites from concept to deployment. Key Responsibilities :
– Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins, managing projects from concept to deployment.
– Customize and enhance existing themes and plugins to align with business requirements and client specifications.
– Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to create responsive, mobile-first websites.
– Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for speed, SEO, and overall efficiency.
– Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and conflicts in a timely manner.
– Ensure website security and perform regular updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
– Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress and web development technologies.
– Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support to elevate their skills.
Required Skills :
– Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
– Solid experience in custom theme and plugin development for WordPress.
– Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
– Proficiency with page builders (Experience in Elementor is a must).
– Experience in WooCommerce and e-commerce development.
– Knowledge of website optimization techniques for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility to ensure consistent performance.
Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
– 1-3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
– Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining responsive WordPress websites.
