The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on JavaScript and React.js. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and intuitive. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using JavaScript, React.js, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
- Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and platforms.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability by writing efficient, reusable, and modular code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and third-party services.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-4 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong emphasis on JavaScript and React.js.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with Git workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in frontend applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.
- Experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, or other frontend frameworks/libraries is a plus.
- Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or leading frontend projects is desirable.
