Senior Software Engineer – Cloud and Power Platform
India – Fully Remote Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud computing, data management, and business process automation using Microsoft’s Azure and Power Platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, Azure Functions, and Azure Automation runbooks for streamlined administration and data management.
- Design and implement custom connectors and develop robust Power Automate flows and Power Apps to enhance business processes.
- Administer and manage Azure resources, including Blob Storage, Key Vault, Runbook, and Azure Functions.
- Create and manage data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and Azure Tables.
- Develop insightful PowerBI dashboards and reports for data analysis and decision-making support.
- Configure and manage the Power Platform administration portal and understand the nuances of Power Platform advanced settings.
- Perform detailed analysis of data and logs to identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software engineering role, with a strong focus on cloud services and platform administration.
- Expertise in PowerShell, Azure, and Python scripting for automation and configuration.
- Proficient in using REST API and OData 4.0 for integration and development tasks.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and PowerBI.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Dataverse and experience administering Azure cloud resources.
- Familiarity with Dynamics CRM and SQL for database management and development.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a self-starting and responsible approach to tackling complex problems.
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications in Azure or Microsoft Power Platform are highly advantageous.
- Experience in leading projects or teams in a collaborative IT environment.
