Ontrack is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications before release. This role requires a deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks, along with the ability to mentor junior testers and collaborate with development teams.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure product quality
- Analyze test results, report bugs, and verify fixes
- Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Software Tester, preferably in a senior or lead role
- Strong knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or Postman
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation ability
