We are seeking a skilled Shopify App Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify applications to enhance the functionality of our clients’ e-commerce stores. You will work closely with our product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
– App Development : Design, develop, and deploy custom Shopify apps using Shopify’s APIs, Polaris, and related technologies.
– Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct thorough testing to ensure the apps are free from bugs and perform optimally.
– API Integration : Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend app functionality and provide enhanced features.
– Collaboration : Work closely with the design team to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences and collaborate with project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions on time.
– Maintenance : Monitor app performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates and improvements as needed.
– Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for codebases, APIs, and app functionalities.
– Client Support : Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding app usage and troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
– Technical Skills : Proficiency in Shopify’s API, Shopify CLI, Liquid templating language, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
– Experience : Proven experience in developing and deploying Shopify apps. Experience with other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
– Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
– Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
– Communication : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
