We are seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Theme Developer with at least 6 months of hands-on experience to join our growing team. As a Shopify Theme Developer, you will be responsible for customizing and building high-quality, responsive Shopify themes that provide an exceptional user experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Theme Development & Customization :
– Develop and customize Shopify themes based on client requirements.
– Modify existing Shopify themes to meet specific design or functionality needs.
– Ensure themes are fully responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimized for speed and performance.
Collaboration :
– Work closely with designers and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new features and functionality.
Shopify Liquid Development :
– Write clean, maintainable code using Shopify’s templating language, Liquid.
– Customize and create custom Shopify sections and templates to enhance the user experience.
Integrations & Third-Party Apps :
– Integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend Shopify store functionality.
– Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues.
Testing & Debugging :
– Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix any bugs, inconsistencies, or issues in theme code and functionality.
– Ensure themes are compatible with all browsers and devices.
Optimization :
– Optimize themes for fast loading times and improved performance.
– Implement best practices for SEO to enhance visibility and search engine rankings.
Qualifications :
– At least 6 months of experience working with Shopify theme development.
– Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
– Experience with responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
– Familiarity with Shopify’s platform, including theme structure, Shopify admin, and the Shopify API.
– Strong attention to detail, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
– Good understanding of eCommerce principles and user experience best practices.
Preferred Skills (Optional) :
– Experience with version control tools like Git.
– Familiarity with Shopify Plus and advanced theme customization.
– Experience working with SEO, performance optimization, and analytics tools.
– Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, React) is a plus.
