Position : Software Engineer II
Role Overview :
The Sr. Software Engineer will be an individual contributor responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using Python, Postgres, React, Typescript, and BigQuery. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in software development.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python, Postgres, React, Typescript, and BigQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and software trends.
- Contribute to the improvement of the software development process and tools.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Postgres, React, Typescript, and BigQuery.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
