Roles & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development technologies, specializing in React JS or Next JS, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and the creation of responsive web applications. With at least 3 years of professional experience, the candidate will lead the development of high quality, user-centric web applications, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Build scalable and maintainable web applications using React JS or Next JS. Ensure the implementation of responsive design to provide optimal user experience across various devices.
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Use CSS and Tailwind CSS to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Employ best practices to ensure efficient performance across all browsers and devices.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to achieve project goals. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Code Quality and Best Practices: Ensure the implementation of best coding practices and patterns. Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality and organization.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of new technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial to our development practices.
Engagement Type:
- Job Type: Contract 6 months on Uplers Payroll
- Post 6 months Contract to Hire on the Abdi Garemani payroll as a Full-Time
- Location: Remote
- Working time: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST
Project Requirements:
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing expertise in React JS or Next JS, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Technical Skills: Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Deep knowledge of React JS or Next JS and its core principles.
- Responsive Design: Expertise in creating responsive designs and understanding of mobile-first development principles.
- Version Control: Proficiency in version control tools, such as Git.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to
- collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Important Additional Requirements:
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
