What You’ll Do
- Design intuitive, inclusive, and accessible interfaces for our website, landing pages, and digital campaigns
- Create visually compelling layouts, icons, and illustrations that reflect DEIB principles
- Collaborate with content, program, and outreach teams to turn ideas into user-centered designs
- Conduct user research or interpret feedback to iterate and refine design solutions
- Help maintain a cohesive design system and brand identity across touchpoints
- Explore ways to represent diverse identities, experiences, and stories in UI elements
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for design that reflects empathy, inclusion, and impact
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, or Sketch
- Strong visual storytelling and layout skills
- Understanding of basic UX principles—usability, accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness
- A portfolio (can include personal or student projects) showing thoughtful, aesthetic designs
- Bonus: experience with designing for non-profits or mission-driven organizations
