Key Responsibilities :
– Design and build responsive, visually engaging web applications.
– Create wire-frames, mock-ups, and prototypes that reflect the overall design and functionality.
– Collaborate with developers and content creators to ensure the final product aligns with design goals
– Maintain the web applications look and feel, ensuring consistency and usability across different platforms and devices
– Optimize designs for speed, performance, and search engine visibility
– Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices in web design
– Work with project managers to ensure designs meet client and project specifications
– Integrate multimedia content such as images, videos, and animations
– Test websites/web applications for functionality, usability, and compatibility across different browsers and devices
– Ensure that designs are compliant with web standards and accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG)
– Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
– Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git
Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in web design, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design or a related field
– Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role
– Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma, Sketch
– Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
– Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
– Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla
– Ability to create responsive and adaptive designs for various screen sizes
– Strong understanding of website architecture, layout, and navigation best practices
– Portfolio of previous web design projects demonstrating creativity and technical skills
