Shipmnts.com is looking for a skilled Web Backend Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, APIs, and databases that power our logistics software platforms. You will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to ensure smooth and scalable system performance.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with external services
- Manage and optimize databases for performance and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues in a timely manner
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Ensure application security, data protection, and performance optimization
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend programming languages
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
