We are seeking an experienced Shopify Website Developer who has a strong background in Shopify development, web design, and additional knowledge of WordPress. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining Shopify websites that provide seamless user experiences and drive client success. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, detail-oriented, and adept at both Shopify and WordPress platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly Shopify websites
- Customize Shopify themes, utilizing Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to meet client specifications
- Integrate and configure third-party apps and plugins for enhanced functionality
- Collaborate with our creative and digital marketing teams to align website design with marketing goals
- Maintain and update WordPress sites as needed, ensuring compatibility, security, and performance
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct site performance analyses to optimize UX/UI and SEO
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Website Developer with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Shopify, including theme development and customization using Liquid
- Strong skills in web design and UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web technologies
- Experience with WordPress CMS and ability to make updates, manage plugins, and maintain security
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and e-commerce trends
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, or similar e-commerce platforms
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git
