Web developer responsibilities include building ourwebsite from concept to completion from the bottom up fashioningeverything from the home page to site layout andfunction.
Responsibilities
- Write well designed testable efficient code byusing best software development practices
- Create a website layout / user interface by using standardHTML / CSS practices
- Integrate data from variousbackend services and databases
- Gather andrefine specifications and requirements based on technicalneeds
- Create and maintain softwaredocumentation
- Be responsible for maintainingexpanding and scaling our site
- Stay pluggedinto emerging technologies / industry trends and apply them intooperations and activities
- Cooperate with webdesigners to match visual design intent
Requirements
- Provenworking experience in web programming
- Topnotchprogramming skills and indepth knowledge of modernHTML / CSS
- Familiarity with at least one of thefollowing programming languages : PHP ASP.NET Javascript or Ruby onRails
- A solid understanding of how webapplications work including security session management and bestdevelopment practices
- Adequate knowledge ofrelational database systems ObjectOriented Programming and webapplication development
- Handson experiencewith network diagnostics network analytics tools
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimizationprocess
- Aggressive problem diagnosis andcreative problemsolving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
- Ability to work and thrive in afastpaced environment learn rapidly and master diverse webtechnologies and techniques.
- BS in computerscience or a related field
