Position Type: WordPress Developer
Experience : 2- 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement design mockups into functional websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders as needed.
- Document code and processes for future reference and team collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP programming language.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Symfony.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus.
- Certification in WordPress development or related technologies is advantageous.
