Key Responsibilities
• Develop and customize Shopify themes and WordPress websites according to client requirements.
• Convert Figma designs into fully responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
• Implement dynamic and interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and seamless user experiences.
• Customize and extend Shopify/WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and full responsiveness across all devices.
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers for smooth project delivery.
• Integrate third-party APIs, applications, and services into Shopify and WordPress environments.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance development workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Frontend Development Expertise: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Shopify Expertise: Hands-on experience with the Liquid templating language, Shopify themes, Shopify CLI, and app integrations.
• WordPress Expertise: Skilled in theme customization, plugin development, WooCommerce, Gutenberg blocks, and builders like Elementor, Divi, or Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• SEO Best Practices: Basic knowledge of frontend SEO optimization.
• Performance Optimization: Understanding of techniques to improve website load time and responsiveness.
• CMS Knowledge: Experience with Headless CMS solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience working with Shopify Plus and WordPress theme building.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
