Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a WordPress developer at UPDOT®. As a WordPress developer, you will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, and web development tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain websites using the WordPress platform.
Qualifications
- Experience using ACF/ACF Pro (Advanced custom fields) plugin
- Experience using visual page builders and creating custom templates for these plugins
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Experience integrating 3rd party apps with WordPress
- Experience using the WooCommerce plugin
- Experience developing responsive design websites
- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools i.e. GitHub
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
