The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design & development is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Practical knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, jQuery, HTML5, JS, CSS3, and WordPress.
• Capable of customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
• The ability to convert PSD and designs to fully working WordPress websites using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Capable of testing, bug correction, and quick load times.
• Creating new features and functions as well as designing and developing the architecture of websites.
• Maintaining well-documented and reusable code
• Handling the backend of the website, including database and server integration
• Managing all the technical parts of the CMS
• Analyzing website performance and identifying faults
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience working as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and libraries.
