Key Responsibilities:
- WordPress Website Maintenance & Management (10-15 hours/week):
- Perform security risk assessments and management.
- Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Customize templates and implement design changes.
- Develop custom plugins and PHP code.
- Manage and implement licenses.
- Handle website backup management and monthly reporting.
- Integrate and install analytics tracking.
- Conduct continuous analysis and suggest improvements.
- Maintain hosting and server environments.
- Ensure website accessibility.
- WordPress Development (As needed, up to 10-20 hours/week):
- Develop new web pages and refresh designs as needed.
- Execute development projects such as complete overhauls, building sales funnels, fixing broken plugins, or updating PHP versions.
- Project Management (2-3 hours/week):
- Participate in bi-monthly or weekly meetings to discuss project status and requirements.
- Provide weekly status reports to the client’s project manager.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the client’s specifications and quality standards.
- Address any nonconformities promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with custom plugin development and theme customization.
- Familiarity with website security best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the best plugins/solutions.
- Deep understanding of creating integrations and configuring plugins with other applications.
- Comfort with page development and editing using Avada Builder or Elementor Builder.
Work Environment:
- This is a remote position; no travel is required.
- The contractor will provide the necessary equipment and tools to perform duties, including computers, internet connectivity, and software licenses.
