We are looking for a dynamic and execution-focused Head – Human Resources to lead and scale the HR function for a rapidly growing, customer-centric furniture brand. This is a work-from-home leadership role, ideal for HR professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.

🎯 Role Overview

As the Head of HR, you will act as a strategic HR Business Partner, closely collaborating with senior leadership and business unit heads to align people strategy with business goals. You will lead talent, rewards, engagement, and HR operations while building scalable HR systems for a growing workforce.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR business partnering initiatives, aligning HR strategy with organizational objectives
  • Drive talent acquisition, retention, learning, and development to support rapid growth
  • Manage compensation & benefits, rewards strategy, payroll, and HR policies ensuring compliance and competitiveness
  • Oversee employee engagement programs to build a people-first, high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as L&D, Talent, and Rewards to deliver scalable solutions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team (recruitment, HR operations, payroll, onboarding)
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations for 500–800 employees, ensuring smooth service delivery
  • Support change management, workforce planning, and organizational transformation
  • Work closely with sales and operations teams in a high-growth environment

🧠 What We’re Looking For

  • Progressive HR experience with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering, Rewards, and COE functions
  • Proven experience leading HR in mid to large-scale organizations
  • Preferred industry exposure: Retail, Banking, Insurance (B2C), Furniture, or Sales/Operations-driven businesses
  • Experience managing HR teams and working with Tier-2 city or HQ-linked operations
  • Strong execution mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to build engagement and foster a collaborative, high-energy culture
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setup with high ownership expectations
