- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in partnerships, product development, or general management.
- Experience with technology initiatives involving payment platforms, and experience with financial services ecosystems or industries in India.
- Experience leading and developing partnerships teams and people managers, and experience of working in a global, matrixed organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience and technical understanding of the advertising business including experience constructing Partnerships.
- Ability to use benchmarks and performance metrics to track progress, maintaining constant focus on top-line impact, including experience setting stretch goals and moving teams forward to gain traction and deliver on them.
- Established relationships and presence within the commerce and financial services sector in India, and experience building a merchant ecosystem through partnerships.
- Ability to operate and influence in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment across levels.
- Ability to select, attract, motivate, retain, and develop leaders and team members.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Build and motivate partnerships development professionals to expand merchant coverage in India, through numerous channels including optimizing vendor management business.
- Establish focus areas to drive Google and Partner success while defining and executing ambitious business plans.
- Liaise with regional and global Product and cross-functional teams to define an ads and business generation strategy with merchants and drive the go-to-market narrative. Bridge partner insights, analytics, product, and platforms and deliver scalable strategies for payments.
- Gain and maintain industry and regulatory presence as an influential representative in the market while executing against strategies and account plans. Contribute strategically to the growth of Google’s products and services, ensuring full compliance to Google’s best practices.
- Establish and lead complex strategic partnerships and manage implementations or support in-market activities with Growth teams.
