Our founder, James, started OneSeven over six years ago after his experience hiring an offshore agency for his pre-seed Ed-Tech startup. The project was unsuccessful due to communication issues, conflicting time zones, and scope creep. The role: We’re seeking a Fullstack Mobile Developer with experience in Swift development for iOS Native applications. Your primary focus will be developing user interface components and ensuring application robustness and maintainability. You’ll collaborate with the team on various infrastructure layers, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving and product quality.
About You:
- Fluent in English (B2-C2 level is required)
- 2-5 years of experience building B2B/B2C software.
- Excellent code practices

- We work in two-week sprints and monthly feature releases.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Experience with frontend libraries like React or React Native for mobile is a plus
- GIT + Github Experience
- Experience with typescript.
- 2+ years of experience with Swift is required.
- Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
- Experience with Chat bots and AI is preferred
- Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience working with Docker is preferred.
- Experience with AWS is preferred.
- Experience with Node.js is preferred.
- Experience with 3D Animations is a plus
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Role and Responsibilities:
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Developing new user-facing features using React and React Native.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of mobile devices, web-capable devices and browsers
- Utilize your expertise in RESTful APIs to seamlessly integrate external services into our React Native mobile applications.
- Work effectively with an international team of developers to achieve project objectives.
- Foster communication with cross-functional teams, including QA professionals, project managers, designers, and clients, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and progress.
- Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address inquiries, building strong client relationships.
- Collaborate in project planning and estimation discussions, contributing insights to define timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Quickly adapt to changing project requirements, technology trends, and client needs, ensuring flexibility in a dynamic development environment.
