iPhone 15 series, which includes three models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max -is expected to launch in the next month. Apple’s upcoming iPhone models will likely feature the USB Type-C port instead of Apple’s proprietary Lightning connector. The Cupertino company has yet to confirm if they will launch the iPhone 15 series would feature a connector that is in line with EU regulations. Leaked photos show the USB Type-C ports rumoured to be that Apple will add to its future iPhone models. Additionally, leaked pictures of the iPhone 15 Pro Max case from models like the iPhone 15 Pro Max corroborate assertions that Apple will equate those Pro versions with a brand-new Action button.
X (formerly known as Twitter) users @lipilipsi and @John011235 posted images of USB Type-C connectors available with the iPhone 15, iPhone 15, and iPhone 15 Plus, along with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The photos leaked by Twitter don’t include the connectors for Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro. It’s important to note that there is no way of confirming the authenticity of these images, and the two users still need to provide a source of the component images.
It’s worth noting that Apple stated that it would equip its future devices with a charging port similar to that used by current Android phones to comply with EU regulations. However, Apple did not say how much it would implement this for its iPhone 15 series, which is expected to launch in September. The reports suggest that the phones will have the new connector; however, only Made for iPhone (MFi) certified accessories will have complete functionality.
In the year ahead, Apple may also be rumoured to change the famous muted switch in its iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models by introducing the “Action” button. It could be programmed to accomplish specific tasks, launch Shortcuts, and turn on or off particular accessibility features. In the past, Apple introduced the Apple Watch Ultra, the first product Apple made to have a dedicated button.
