Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games, has discussed the possibility of singer Travis Scott returning to Fortnite soon. Fortnite continues to add new stars and references to pop culture, including Futurama. In addition, Travis Scott was one of the first famous people from the real world to get skins on the battlefield.
This was an appropriate move given Scott’s popularity in the era and the many brand agreements connecting him with McDonald’s and Reese’s Puffs.
Possibilities Return of Travis Scott in Fortnite
But, using the Astroworld Celebration disaster that happened in 2021, Epic Games took off Travis Scott’s skin coming from Fortnite’s item shop amid discussion. Tim Sweeney appears to have altered his opinion when questioned on Travis Scott’s return.
However, Sweeny tweeted, “Travis Scott is welcome in Fortnite. I’m simply not up to date on rotating items and I’m not sure when they’ll be coming or what agreements specific to brands and celebrities affect the timing of those choices.”
Another person wrote, “This is random, but can we get more rappers in Fortnite? Like, Liltjay, lil baby, lil uzi vert, le choppa,21 Savage, yet (NBA YOUNGBOY, you have his music in the game, would it be cool if he’s in it), or add in lil yachty? Also, what happened to Billie Eilish?
A different Twitter handle said, “If this isn’t a confirmation, I don’t know what is. People will stay mad about not wanting him back, but it will happen. “
